Choose your computer and browser. Then follow the steps.
Install Just Safe for Windows
When the public release is available, download the Windows .exe, run Just Safe Setup, and open Just Safe from the Start menu. The setup guide opens on first launch.

You see the Just Safe welcome screen. If installation is blocked, verify the download source; do not disable Windows security.

I cannot find a download or extension listing.
Public releases are still being prepared. “Coming soon” means there is no verified public download yet. This guide does not require developer mode or an unsigned installer.
I installed the extension, but it is not connected.
Keep the selected browser and Just Safe open. Check that the extension is enabled with website access, then check the connection again in Just Safe’s setup guide. Repeat for each browser profile you use.
Downloads monitoring needs attention.
Open Just Safe Settings and check Downloads monitoring and any folder-access message. Monitoring can stay off while you use manual checks. Turning on reporting does not enable monitoring.
Can I return to setup later?
Yes. In the desktop app, open Settings → Setup guide. Your selected preferences and saved step are retained. Finishing the guide does not automatically enable protection or optional permissions.
